2. What we collect
When you request the free sample chapters, you give us:
- your full name
- your work email address
- your job title
- your industry
- your consent, and the date and time you gave it
Automatically, at the same time, we record where you came from so we can tell which campaigns work:
- campaign details in the link you clicked (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term)
- a LinkedIn click identifier, if you arrived from a LinkedIn ad
- the referring website
- your browser type (user agent)
- which button you used to open the form
We also process your IP address briefly to limit repeated form submissions and prevent abuse.
We do not collect payment details. Purchases are made on Amazon or other retailers' sites, under their own privacy policies.
3. Cookies and tracking
- We use your browser's local storage to remember your cookie choice, and session storage to hold campaign details while you browse.
- LinkedIn Insight Tag. We load this only if you click "Accept" on the cookie banner. It lets us measure how LinkedIn ads lead to visits and sign-ups. If you click "Decline", it is never loaded. LinkedIn's handling of data is covered by its own privacy policy.
- We do not use advertising cookies from any other provider.
4. Why we use your information

- To send you occasional emails about requirements management, the book and related resources, only because you ticked the consent box.
- To measure and improve our marketing.
- To keep the site secure.
5. Emailing you
Every marketing email will include a working unsubscribe link, and we will honour unsubscribe requests promptly. You can also write to contact@assurelinkconsulting.com.au at any time. We comply with the Spam Act 2001 (Cth).
6. Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the site:
- Lovable Cloud (Supabase), which stores form submissions and the sample PDF.

- Zoho, our email service provider.

Some of these providers store data outside Australia, including in the United States. We take reasonable steps to make sure they protect it appropriately.

Form data is stored in a private database that only the site owner can read, and the sample download link expires after 15 minutes. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
9. Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Email contact@assurelinkconsulting.com.au and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK, you also have the right to object to processing, to restrict it, and to data portability.
10. Complaints
Please contact us first. If we cannot resolve your concern, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au. EU and UK residents may contact their local data protection authority.

The site links to Amazon, Kobo, Apple Books, LinkedIn and other sites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.
